The Sweet Leo mini pedal, named after Fender founder Leo Fender and designed by German guitarist Thomas Blug, packs quite a similar punch to that of early Fender tweed and blackface amps. It delivers everything from a crystal clear clean boost and subtle grit through to a cranked combo crunch. The Tone knob is a star here, as it gives you a wide range of useable tones that bring your guitar’s upper-mid frequencies to the forefront. The Growl knob, however, steals the show by giving your drive tone more harmonic complexity.
