The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin is a hybrid device that combines the functionality of an audio interface and hardware effects router, creating a seamless bridge between physical guitar pedals and software plugins. Users can send DAW tracks through real hardware pedals or process pedalboard signals through software plugins and return them back into their signal chain using a simple USB-C connection.
The Effects Interface operates in three primary modes: Hardware Plugin Mode for using physical pedals as DAW effects processors, Pedalboard Mode for integrating software plugins into a live pedalboard setup, and Audio Interface Mode which functions as a traditional 2 In / 2 Out USB audio interface. This makes recording, re-amping, and hybrid studio workflows significantly more flexible and efficient.
