EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) HalfLife คือเอฟเฟกต์ Octave Distortion และ Clean Boost ที่พัฒนาร่วมกับวง Drone Metal ระดับตำนานอย่าง Sunn O))) โดยนำแรงบันดาลใจจากวงจรของ Life Pedal อันโด่งดังมาปรับให้มีขนาดกะทัดรัดและเหมาะกับการติดตั้งบน Pedalboard มากยิ่งขึ้น แต่ยังคงรักษาเอกลักษณ์ของโทนเสียงหนักแน่น ดุดัน และเต็มไปด้วยฮาร์โมนิกที่เป็นซิกเนเจอร์ของต้นฉบับไว้ครบถ้วน

The EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) HalfLife is a compact octave distortion and clean boost pedal developed in collaboration with legendary drone metal pioneers Sunn O))). Based on the acclaimed Life Pedal circuit, HalfLife delivers the massive saturation, harmonic richness, and aggressive character of its predecessor while occupying significantly less pedalboard space.
Combining an analog octave-up circuit, powerful op-amp distortion, and a clean MOSFET booster, HalfLife provides everything from crushing doom textures to articulate high-gain tones. A three-position clipping selector offers multiple distortion voices, while the blendable octave circuit and expression pedal compatibility expand the pedal’s creative possibilities even further.
