ODR-1 – 2020 WITH BASS CUT SWITCH
Over the last few decades, many internationally renowned top musicians have chosen the ODR-1 Natural Overdrive, from Jerry Donahue to Tom Bukovac, Guthrie Trapp, Carl Verheyen, John Shanks, Tim Pierce, Robbie McIntosh, Clem Clempson, Micky Moody and many others. All single-coil guitarists, most humbucker users and even bassists love the clarity and versatility of the ODR-1’s full sound. However, some heavy humbucker players asked for the option to tone down the sub-bass a bit. And we followed this wish!
The current ODR-1(bc) now offers a bass cut switch under the battery cover with which you can preselect: original ODR-1 sound or slightly reduced sub-bass.
Operation is now possible from 9V – 18V DC for more headroom (if desired). In addition, the button pointers are now (GitD) glow-in-the-dark, which allows for better operation.
The ODR-1 became a favorite of professionals, especially session and studio guitarists, as the pedal reacts very sensitively to the guitar volume pot and therefore offers lively sound variations in the game. The wide-range spectrum tone control increases bass and treble simultaneously when turned clockwise. The mids are changed very little. This guarantees a transparent, warm tone in every position.
