The Japanese-made Ibanez RG521 captures a shredder's personality in an instrument. With an Ultra Thin Super Wizard neck that's made for speed and powerful pickups that are made for rock and metal.

The Jumbo frets also means that it's an absolute breeze to bend strings and access the upper frets. It's also got a stop-tail bridge will give you a touch more sustain when you're using a bit of gain and the GraphTech lubricated nut means that tuning stability is the best it can possibly be.

Usually Japanese-made instruments are double the price of this guitar. But as one of their entry-level Japanese guitars, it stands up to the best of them on the market.
