The Element from DigiTech is multi-effect guitar pedal that provides everything needed to explore a wide gamut of guitar tones. The unit models thirty-one different pedals, twelve amplifiers, and nine speaker cabinets, and also includes a guitar tuner and headphone jack for playing without disturbing others. The one-hundred factory presets allow for creating custom presets, which can be saved in any of the one-hundred user locations.
Using a simple pedalboard style layout and editor, settings for the fifty-two effects can be quickly adjusted. The Tone Bank and FX Bank each have twenty different tone and effects combinations for quick and easy sound selection. When drums are needed to play along with, trigger one of the forty-five drum tracks with the touch of a button.
The unit features a 1/4″ guitar input along with stereo 1/4″ output jacks that can be connected to either an amplifier or mixer for direct recording. A press of the Amp/Mixer mode engages the internal speaker cabinets for direct recording. A stereo mini auxiliary input is included for connecting audio playback.
