This is for Paul Gilbert fans that prefer the more conventionally shaped RG. In fact, you don’t even need to be a Paul Gilbert fan to like the Ibanez PGM80P in Natural. It not only looks great but it has performance to back it up. The PGM model had long been in the Prestige line until it disappeared a few years ago. It is now back as a Premium series electric guitar. It comes with an Ash body. It features painted F Holes like the original. Bolted onto the body is a 22 fret 5 piece maple and walnut neck. It has a rosewood fretboard with white dot inlays. You also get tall and narrow frets with the Premium Treatment. They look and feel great.
The Ibanez PGM80P-NT comes with some pretty neat hardware. DiMarzio pickups feature in an HSH setup. PAF Master in the Bridge and Neck positions. A PGM Single Coil in the middle. This is a very versatile setup that will work for a large range of music. A Wilkinson WV6-SB tremolo bridge has also been fitted. This vintage style trem does the job exceptionally well.
